“I saw that she wasn’t training focused for this fight. And the suspicion began that I was leaking my training to her. And, with a week to go, news arrives that Holly (Holm) had injured her knee. Two days later, she posts a video of herself walking. Anyone with a knee injury can't do almost anything. The other day, she posted a photo standing on her toes, putting her weight on one leg. And I thought, 'Really? Weren't you injured?'” said Norma.

Afterwards, Dumont chose to continue on the card and had the main fight of the night against Aspen ladd. With a solid performance, the Minas Gerais native surpassed her opponent in the judges' decision and says that, in a post-event press conference, she learned that Holm had given a 'green light' so that Ultimate could book her in a new fight.

Within a week, she healed the knee injury that took her out of a fight? I was very angry and frustrated with her leaving”, he concluded.
