Strickland's trainer rebels and resigns as judge after controversial score at UFC Vegas 47

Eric Nicksick claims that all specialized sites disagreed with Sal D'Amato for reporting an advantage over Jack Hermansson in the main fight of the night

Eric Nicksick used his official account on 'Twitter' to criticize judge Sal D'Amato, who was responsible for judging the fights in UFC Las Vegas 47, held last Saturday (5). The coach of Sean Strickland resigned from the jury because he had taken advantage of Jack hermansson in the main fight of the night. The note, however, did not affect the final result and the North American was declared the winner by split decision.

Seventh place in the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9kg.), Sean Strickland achieved his sixth consecutive victory in the organization, including triumphs over Brendan allen – which he also won at UFC Vegas 47 – and Uriah Hall.

His last defeat came in May 2018, when he was knocked out by Elizeu Capoira. A professional since 2018, the North American has a record of 25 positive results and three negative results in his career in the sport.
