The Brazilian Amanda nunes will have a reunion with Julianna Pena sooner than many people expected. After the North American of Venezuelan descent took the Lioness belt in UFC 269, in December, the event took advantage of the opportunity and cast the fighters as coaches for the 30th edition of The Ultimer Fighter (TUF), the company's reality show.

TUF 30 will feature male heavyweight (up to 120,3kg) and female flyweight (up to 57kg) athletes. The champion of each category guarantees a six-figure contract with the UFC. Although it is not yet official, the program's technicians – when they are from the same category – usually face each other at the end of the show.
The recordings for TUF 30 begin this February, in Las Vegas (USA). The premiere of the reality show is scheduled for May 3rd, in the States.

The North American Julianna Pena returns to the reality show that took her to the UFC. The 'Megera Venezuaela', as she is known, was champion of the 18th edition of TUF, in 2013. After an irregular trajectory inside the octagon, she shocked the world by submitting the Brazilian Amanda nunes, who had been unbeatable since 2014, and win the bantamweight belt. The current champion has a record of 11 wins and four losses in professional MMA.
On the other hand, Amanda will have the chance to avenge her latest setback. With a professional record of 21 wins and four losses, the Lioness is seen by many as the greatest MMA fighter of all time. Still the featherweight champion (up to 65.7 kg.), the Bahian seeks to regain the bantamweight title (up to 61.2 kg.) and become double Ultimate champion again.
Despite confirmation of Amanda nunes e Julianna Pena as TUF 30 coaches, the UFC has not yet confirmed when the fight between them will take place.
