“I think Rose (Namajunas) has a stronger punch than (Wheili) Zhang. The first fight with Namajunas, I don't remember. I didn't feel the punch. I just slept, but there were some things that happened before the fight. In the second fight, I felt like she was hitting me really hard, but do you know who hits harder? Valerie Letourneau. She was the hardest punching rival I've ever faced. Then Valerie and then Rose,” Jedrzejczyk said.
Strawweight champion from 2015 to 2017, Joanna faced Valerie Letorneau in her second belt defense, in November of the same year. The Pole has not stepped into the Octagon since March 2020, when she was defeated by Wheili Zhang in a match that was voted one of the best of that season. The 34-year-old fighter has a record of 16 triumphs and four setbacks in professional MMA.
