Hermansson projects a submission victory against Strickland and aims for a chance at the middleweight belt

In the final stretch of preparation for the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 47 next Saturday (5), Jack hermansson exudes confidence before the duel against Sean Strickland. In an interview with the website 'BJPenn.com', the Swede revealed that he wants to finish his opponent in an impressive way.

“He (Strickland) has a good winning streak and it’s an exciting fight. “I think it's hard for people to prepare (for my ground game) because everyone is kind of shocked when I go to the ground with them and they realize how good I am on the ground. And it will be no different with Sean”, said Hermansson.

Whoever thinks that Sean Strickland was the first option Jack hermansson. The Swede stated that he attempted a fight with Paulo borrachinha, but says he is happy with the new meeting and aims for a significant victory to ensure a chance for the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.).

“I wanted to face someone who was above me in the rankings. I tried to face Paulo Costa (Borrachinha), but I couldn't. And now I'm trying to put myself in a position to fight for the title. With a dominant win over Strickland, I can line up (a title shot),” he concluded.
