the veteran Renzo Gracie lives a busy life as a trainer of elite fighters as Chris Weidman e Frankie Edgar, as well as the owner of a large gym in New York. But the 46-year-old welterweight, who is under contract with the UFC, is still thinking about fighting. Preferably before the end of 2013. And not necessarily at the biggest event in the world.

Renzo hasn't fought since 2010, when he was defeated by Matt hugs at UFC 112. Despite his long inactivity, he says he is ready to return. “I've been training with these guys, they're really tough,” Gracie told MMAjunkie Radio. “I’ve been having fun with them. So I’ll definitely be ready to have fun at the end of the year too.”

The most curious thing about this story is that the legendary jiu-jitsu master has made himself available for other events, in case he doesn't get a deal for a fight in the UFC. Renzo mentioned ONE FC, the main Asian organization today.

“The UFC has become a machine. So, if you don't have a name and don't keep fighting, it's hard to stay busy. If I don't fight there (in the UFC) anymore, I don't care. I'm going to fight in ONE, I'm going to fight in a Japanese organization. This for me is fun and thank God I don’t need money to do this.”

The desire to fight is so great that Renzo doesn't choose an opponent, he just asks that they don't offer him an easy life. “I prefer to fight someone tough. Don't bring me a coward. Don’t insult me, bring someone who can beat me”, concluded the still fighter.
