Former UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg), Miesha Tate will have a new adventure ahead, this time, however, outside the Octagon. Last Wednesday (26), 'Cupcake' was announced as one of the participants in the new season of the reality show 'Celebrity Big Brother', a reproduction of the TV Globo program of the same name.

In addition to Miesha, the program will also feature other celebrities from the world of sports: former basketball player and two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom and figure skater Mirai Nagasu, Olympic medalist. It will not be the first time that mixed martial arts have been represented on the reality show: former UFC champion Chuck Liddell participated in the 2018 edition. Even though the fight was scheduled for May, Tate agreed to participate in the program, which, unlike the version Brazilian, has a shorter confinement time for participants.
Former bantamweight champion, 'Cupcake' returned to the octagon in 2021, after five years of retirement and recorded one victory and one defeat. The North American will make her debut in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg) against Lauren Murphy, in May. The fighter has a record of 19 triumphs and eight setbacks in professional MMA.
