After defeating the Brazilian Raoni barcelos in his Ultimate debut, the North American Victor Henry made clear his 'thirst' for new and greater challenges. In an interview after the UFC 270, which took place last Saturday (22), the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) said that he had been asking for a duel with the Tupiniquim athlete for a long time and said that he doesn't want easy fights in the organization.

“I didn’t just want to fight in the UFC. I wanted to fight him (Raoni barcelos). He’s arguably top 15, top 10, so I wanted to fight him and prove that to everyone,” Henry said.
The North American acknowledged that he doesn't have 'all the time in the world' ahead of him and said he doesn't want easy fights in Ultimate.
“I'm not the youngest guy. I have a difficult road to run. I'm not here to accept the easiest fights. As soon as I finish crushing this pizza I'm eating, call me for another fight and I'll be there”, concluded Victor.
At 34 years old, Victor made his debut in the most famous Octagon in the world with an important victory over the veteran Raoni barcelos. In an exuberant phase of his career, the American was defeated just once in his last 10 fights. The bantamweight has a record of 22 triumphs and five setbacks in professional MMA.
