Brazilian promise in the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) of Ultimate, Saimon Oliveira did not have the debut he expected in the organization. With just over two minutes left to finish the stage, Saimon moved away, but Tony quickly managed to take him down. Almost at the end of the round, the Brazilian showed signs of fatigue and the North American tried to take advantage. Once again, the Brazilian stood up and surprised his opponent with a series of elbows. At a disadvantage in the exchange, the North American was strategic and took down. The assault ended with Tony pressing Saimon against the bars with a combination of punches.

To overcome the disadvantage, Saimon attacked his rival in the opening seconds of the last round. The Brazilian tried a flying knee, but was soon taken down by the North American. On top, Gravely asserted the advantage and managed the result. The Santa Catarina native continued to show resistance and managed to stay on his feet. Tony didn't hide his strategy and continued to bet on grappling. With two minutes left, the Brazilian tried a guillotine choke again, but the North American, once again, moved away. Near the final minute, the North American managed to reach the back. The Brazilian got up, but was still blocked by his rival. The Santa Catarina native finally broke free and the athletes started to exchange franks in the center of the Octagon. In the final seconds, the Brazilian landed a beautiful spinning elbow. Gravely felt it and took the Brazilian down. The Santa Catarina native got up and the duel became open again, but there was no more time.
