Nate Diaz asks for a fight against Dustin Poirier again and is responded by Dana White

Ultimate boss highlighted that he is in no rush to set a date for the fight between 'Bad boy' and 'Diamante'

The feud between Nate diaz e Dustin poirier added another chapter. In search of an agreement for the fight to take place, the 'bad boy' appeared on his social networks to ask for the fight again and then received a response from the president of Ultimate, Dana White.

“UFC, stop playing with me. Consider this my signature fight against this son of a bitch I've been trying to do forever. Stop slowing down the real fighting game. It's time,” Diaz wrote in 'Twitter'.

And the movement made by Diaz was not ignored. Asked about a possible agreement in an interview with 'ESPN', Dana White stated that he is in no rush to set a date for the duel.

“Of course we are interested. We fight every weekend. He will fight. What happens is that guys start saying they want to do this or do that. We fight every weekend and we have fights scheduled until May 2nd. Everything is in place, being done,” Dana replied.

One of the most popular fighters on the UFC roster, Nate diaz comes from two consecutive defeats in the octagon, the last one against Leon edwards, UFC 263, in June 2021. The American's last victory came in August 2019, when he defeated the former lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis at UFC 241.

Moreover, Dustin poirier comes from defeat to the champion Charles of the Bronx in a title fight held in UFC 269, in December 2021. Before that, “Diamante” had been enjoying three consecutive victories, two of them over the former champion Conor McGregor.
