With the chance to regain the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg.), Deiveson Figueiredo faces Brandon Moreno No. UFC 270 next Saturday (22). And, as part of the preparation for combat, the Brazilian was in the same environment as Jon Jones at 'Right Ready', in Arizona (USA).

The experience with 'Bones', in fact, caused the Brazilian's analysis of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg.) to have changed and, now, Figueiredo believes that Jones is the only fighter capable of taking away the Frenchman's unbeaten record Cyryl Gane.
“I believe (Gane) will fight Ngannou (and win in the UFC 270). He is loose and moves well. I believe him. If he plays the game right, he could take the belt – and Jones will definitely take it from him. Jones is smart with his feet. When you have heavy hands and can't knock him out, they try to fight him. I don't see this game in Ngannou. And I think every fighter who fights Ngannou, once you avoid his first blows and he gets tired”, said Figueiredo in an interview with the podcast 'French Exchange'.
Before his trilogy in UFC 270, Deiveson spoke about his relationship with Jones. He even reports that he asked for a photo with 'Bones' after a training session at the gym and played with a 'rear naked choke' applied to the North American.
“I want you to get on my back and give me a rear naked choke. I couldn't believe I was climbing on his back. I looked like one of those little Louis Vuitton or Gucci bags on my back,” he joked.
As Figueiredo prepares for the UFC 270, Jon Jones is still rehearsing his return to MMA. The former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) is in the process of moving to the 120,2kg division. and says he is attentive to the movement of the organization.
