Winner of the first edition of The Ultimate Fighters (TUF-1), in the middleweight division, Diego Sanchez, after the reality show, he moved down to the welterweight category and recorded a series of 6 victories in Ultimate, however in 2007, he suffered two consecutive defeats to Josh koscheck and Jon Fitch, but managed to recover this year, beating David Bielkheden in UFC-82 and Luigi Fioravanti in the TUF-7 Final. In his blog on Myspace, the athlete stated that he is already training hard at his new weight.
