This weekend, Deiveson tries to regain the flyweight throne, lost in June 2021, when he ended up submitted by the Mexican. This will be the third challenge between the athletes in just over 12 months.

The stumble against Moreno marked the second defeat in Figueiredo's professional MMA career. Before the setback, the team from Pará had only lost to Jussier formiga, in March 2019.
