Last Saturday, in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 46, the organization's first event of the year, Calvin kattar surprised and defeated Giga Chikadze in the unanimous decision of the judges (50-45, 50-45, 50-44). The result may have ended the Georgian's unbeaten run in Ultimate, but it doesn't seem to have shaken his optimism.

During a live broadcast on your Facebook profile, Giga Chikadze assured his followers that he will learn lessons from the defeat for Calvin kattar and come back even stronger in the future.
"It is what it is. It wasn't my day, but that's okay. Sometimes it happens. It was a good fight. My opponent appeared well, I made mistakes. I'm going to recover a little, guys. I know you are following my journey and this is part of the journey. When I got into the sport, I knew this was a part of it. I messed up last night, but it's okay. It's a journey. I'm learning from this and next time I'll come back stronger. I already feel bad for my future opponents. I will learn a lot from this, trust me,” said Chikadze.
Despite being dominated for most of the five rounds and convincingly defeated by Calvin kattar, Giga Chikadze remains convinced that he is superior to his last opponent. According to the Georgian, the defeat in UFC Las Vegas 46 was just a slip.
“I feel like if I fight this guy (Kattar) ten times, I'll win nine. I would only miss one and it was just last night. I made a mistake and I'm paying for it. Everything is fine. I'm unbreakable. Remember this sh*t, Georgians are always unbreakable. This is how we fought, until the f***ing end”, concluded the Georgian.
