“God willing, we will be able to make this climb (…). Maybe (do) two more or just one more fight (to reach challenger status). It depends on the fight. I will try to do everything I can to achieve this (…). This year, I want to do as many fights as I can, as many fights as the event requires. I came back from surgery the year before last, I was quite stuck. Last year, this USADA thing happened (athlete tested positive for a banned diuretic) and then I was stuck back, and now I want to be able to catch up,” he said.
