DC, who was light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) and heavyweight champion, stated that he believes that Jon Jones will not be able to repeat this feat, mainly due to the time away from the octagon. On his YouTube channel, Bisping disagreed with Cormier and stated that the rivalry with Jones may have affected his judgment.

“They (Ngannou and Gane) are different, but I think I have to disagree with Daniel Cormier here. These two (Cormier and Jones) don't like each other. They are rivals. I've never had a rivalry like this, anyone I hated at this level. I haven't had a rival like DC and Jones are, it's very deep. They haven't liked each other since they met. It was in a nightclub and right there they knew they were going to face each other, and they did,” recalled Bisping.

Regarding the possibilities of Jon Jones in the new division, Michael Bisping believes that it is not possible to rule out the fighter's chances, who in his view, is potentially the greatest of all time.

“Despite his behavior outside the Octagon, which hasn’t been great. Despite the steroid tests, which change things and put a big asterisk, the reality is that when you look at the performances, he (Jones) is potentially the greatest of all time. We're talking about the longest winning streak in UFC history. Most title fight victories in UFC history. He has never lost a fight except one by disqualification. And he's not even 35 years old. There's no way he's going to be 'old' as they say. Now, he has a problem. Gane is unbelievable. Ngannou is unbelievable. Jon Jones He has a CV and is one of the best of all time, so to say that he can't come back after this time and beat these guys, I don't think I agree”, concluded the Brit.
