Conor McGregor's R$15 million bar is attacked with Molotov cocktails in Ireland

Establishment purchased by the Irishman in 2019 was offering a tasting menu at the time of the attack

Last Wednesday night (12), in Dublin, capital of Ireland, the Black Forge Inn, a bar Conor McGregor, was attacked with Molotov cocktails during a tasting event organized by the fighter. According to information from the British newspaper “Mirror”, no one was injured and the establishment was not damaged.

According to reports from a witness to the Irish newspaper “Dublin Live”, two men were seen heading towards the bar on a motorbike moments before the incident occurred.

“Two people on a motorbike passed by the establishment at the time and shortly afterwards they were chased by two others who left the property. McGregor was presenting a tasting menu at the bar, so those responsible for the attack must have imagined he was inside,” said one of the witnesses.

Irish police are looking for more witnesses and people who have some type of footage of what happened to help with the investigation into the attack.

“The Gardai (Irish police) are interested in anyone who has any footage of the site at night. Anyone with information should contact the police station,” the police statement said.

Bought by Conor McGregor in 2019 for 2 million pounds (approximately 15 million reais), the Black Forge Inn was renovated and opened in mid-2021 and has since become one of Dublin's most popular nightlife spots.
