Deiveson Figueiredo will have his former rival and current teammate, Henry Cejudo, in his corner in the trilogy against Brandon Moreno No. UFC 270, which takes place on January 22nd. In an interview with the podcast 'Trocação Franca', the Brazilian stated that 'Triplo C' wants to be by his side due to a feud with the Mexican in the past.

He lived with Henry Cejudo here and then he became (Joseph) Benavidez's sparring partner to fight against Cejudo, so that was his biggest betrayal. That's why Cejudo comes with me to look into his eyes. Cejudo will be in my corner to watch me knock him out. Mark my words,” said Deiveson.
Despite having fostered an atmosphere of rivalry in the past, Figueiredo and Cejudo now have a good relationship. In fact, the 'Triplo C' has helped sharpen the Brazilian's wrestling game for the duel against Moreno.
“I'm happy to have him by my side. It gives me self-confidence. I'm 100% focused on this fight. I can't wait to go back to Brazil and take this belt with me. The fire is burning inside me to get into that octagon and end this now,” he concluded.
Scheduled to take place on January 22nd, UFC 270 should also count on the unification of the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg), with combat between Francis Ngannou e Ciryl Gane. Besides Deiveson Figueiredo, Rudolph Vieira e Wellington Turman – that face each other – and Poliana Botelho there must be other Brazilian representatives on the card.
