Dethroned as middleweight leader (up to 83,9kg) by Georges St-Pierre, Michael Bisping believes that the end of the confrontation could have been different. In a statement given on its official channel on 'Youtube', the Brit revealed that he fought injured at the time and said that he would have won the duel if he had been healthy.

“I would crush him. I would have crushed him that night, but he was hurt. I was pretty injured, I only had one eye and my ribs were lacerated,” Bisping said.

Michael and GSP faced each other in November 2017, at UFC 217. At the time, Bisping was the middleweight champion and the Canadian returned to the Octagon after four years away due to retirement. The former welterweight leader (under 77,1kg) took no notice of the Brit and defeated him via submission in the third round.
