Less than a week after being defeated by Chris Weidman at UFC 162, Anderson Silva not only did he change his mind about not challenging for the belt again, he also announced the date of his rematch against the North American. In an interview with GQ magazine, Spider confirmed that his reunion with Weidman will take place on December 28th.
Anderson revealed the information amid a response about the impact of last Saturday's defeat (6) on his image. “It doesn’t change much. After losing, I have to prepare again and fight again. In fact, I confirm the rematch, which will take place on December 28th this year”, said the former champion.
The date informed by the Brazilian corresponds to UFC 168, an event that currently features a duel between Ronda Rousey e Miesha Tate, TUF 18 coaches, as the main fight. There is still no information about the fate of the fight for the women's bantamweight title, but it is likely that it will be moved to a future edition of Ultimate.

Unfortunately, all of this about Anderson Silva's fights is nothing more than pure setup and lies... Those who don't want to see it just don't see it... Everything is set up before the “fight”, if you can call it a fight!!!
A joke, an OFFENSE to Anderson Silva and MMA fans... My group of friends and I all have the same opinion, the UFC is corrupted like Boxing was before HISTORY passed... Sadly, we stopped admiring and believing in this Anderson Silva salesman... Nobody cares anymore whether Anderson Silva wins or loses the next “fights”…
