Paulo Borrachinha appears on the list of fighters most tested by USADA in 2021

In addition to the Brazilian, names like Miesha Tate and TJ Dillashaw appear on the list led by Misha Cirkunov

Former UFC belt challenger, Paulo borrachinha was one of the ten fighters most tested by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency in 2021). The middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) was the only Brazilian to appear in the top 10 and was joined by names such as former champions TJ Dillashaw e Miesha Tate.

According to information published on the official USADA website, 744 MMA athletes were tested by the entity, totaling 4259 tests. While some athletes received fewer than ten random tests throughout the year, some were tested nearly 30 times.

Most tested Brazilian in 2021, Paulo borrachinha appears in fifth place in the general ranking, with 23 tests, an average of almost two per month.

Leading the list is the Latvian Misha Cirkunov, with 27 tests carried out throughout the year. In one of them, he ended up being caught using marijuana, but was not suspended, as the use of the substance is no longer punished by the agency.

TJ Dillashaw, who returned to the octagon after serving a suspension for steroid use and Miesha Tate, who returned from a hiatus of almost five years, are the only former champions to appear in the top 10, with 25 and 24 tests performed respectively.
