Wolverine returns to UFC against Johnny Bedford in September

Both need victory to recover from the defeats suffered in recent performances

Another fight was made official by the UFC for the September edition on national soil, an event that will take place in Belo Horizonte. The fight in question is between bantamweights Hugo Wolverine e Johnny bedford.

Both fighters won two fights in three UFC appearances and were defeated in their last matches. Wolverine was knocked out by TJ Dillashaw in the first round of the fight at UFC On FOX 7, in April, after beating John Macapá (UFC 147) and Reuben Duran (TUF 16 Finale).

The American Bedford had his short UFC winning streak interrupted by Bryan caraway, who submitted him at UFC 159. Before, Bedford had defeated Louis Gaudinot, in TUF 14, Finale and Marcos Vinícius “Vina,” at the TUF 16 Finale.

In addition to their streak in the UFC, Wolverine and Bedford have another similarity: both were revealed on the program The Ultimate Fighter, where they made semi-finals on TUF Brasil 1 and TUF 14, respectively.
