In a bad moment in Ultimate, two of the most popular names in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg) could face each other soon. On your official account on 'Twitter’, Tony Ferguson revealed that he was interested in measuring forces against Michael chandler and asked that theIron' don't run away from combat.

“Chandler, the UFC passed along your message that you would be ready for me in April or June. It looks like you're trying to delay this spanking. I owe you one for cutting the line, boy. It's wrestling season, motherfucker. Grow up, champion,” wrote Ferguson.
Chandler, in fact, didn't take long to respond to Ferguson's provocation. In response on the same platform, the former challenger for the category's linear title tried to reinforce his respect for the 'The cucuy', but promised to beat him inside the Octagon.
“Oh, Ferguson. There are few guys in the business that I really respect and you are one of them. Only because of its stability, not its size or its current presence in the division. I will beat you from start to finish. Pray for a merciful referee. Let’s see if this fight happens,” Chandler responded.
Hired by Ultimate to boost the lightweight division, Chandler currently occupies fifth place in the category led by Do Bronx. For the company, the North American has had three clashes, having won only on his debut, when he ran over Dan Hooker.
A veteran of the sport, Ferguson is not experiencing the best moment of his career. Considered one of the most feared men in the history of the category, the American comes from three negative results in a row.

Oh Tony. There's only a handful of guys in this game I truly respect… you're one of them. Only because of your tenure, not your stature or your current presence in the division. I'll beat you from bell to bell. Pray for a merciful ref. We shall see if this fight happens.
