Considered one of the biggest promises in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg), Sean O'Malley imposed his conditions on Ultimate, if they want to call him for big fights in the organization. In an interview with 'MMANews', the North American revealed that he does not intend to accept main fights in the UFC, unless his salary is readjusted.

“When I’m champion, yes. There comes a point, where you can't say no to the UFC, you know what I mean? I prefer not to fight five rounds, unless they want to pay me a lot more money. I did a 10 week camp for UFC 269 and I fought for 15 minutes. It was a camp difficult. I think with the cardio level I was at, I could have fought for five rounds. But, when you're there, you won't give up, you won't fall, you'll fight, but five rounds is a long time. There are 25 minutes of fight. If I'm going to do this, I'd like to be paid equally. That’s a long time to fight, man,” O’Malley revealed.
