Without fear of taking a stance and with a style that is at least irreverent, Sean O'Malley accumulates fans and “haters” in equal measure as he consolidates himself as one of the main bantamweights (up to 61,2 kg) in the UFC. The fighter's attitude last Friday (24), Christmas Eve, should increase the athlete's morale with the public.

In a video published on his own YouTube channel, Sean O'Malley appears visiting stores in the United States and distributing US$100 packages (approximately R$570) to strangers who were doing their Christmas shopping.
The reactions of those lucky enough to bump into the UFC fighter in the store's aisles ranged from gratitude, disbelief and joy.
Inside the Octagon, the year was great for Sean O'Malley. After experiencing his first career defeat last year, “Sugar” entered action three times in 2021, with three wins by knockout, the last being over the Brazilian Raulian paiva, UFC 269. The good results earned the 27-year-old fighter praise from Ultimate's president, Dana White, who assured that he will have to improve the young promise's contract after the last performance.
Before thinking about the next step, however, Sean O'Malley is recovering from an injury suffered to the thumb of his right hand before the fight against Raulian paiva. According to the list of medical suspensions released by the Nevada Athletic Commission, the American could be out until June 2022.
