Retired since July 7, 2012, when he was defeated by Forrest griffin at UFC 148, Tito Ortiz has dedicated himself to the life of an entrepreneur. However, a warrior always has one last battle stored within him. According to messages published on social media, the former UFC light heavyweight champion leaves the real possibility of fighting again in the air.
Ortiz posted a photo showing himself to be in excellent physical shape. In it, he said that “returns are the best tests”. Then he left another message: “Cool being a free agent (athlete without employment relationship). I need to make a big decision about my future and the future of my children. It’s nice to have a great environment around and be healthy.”
Recently the former fighter saw Jon Jones equal his record for light heavyweight title defenses (5) and consecutive title fights (6). The young champion can surpass these marks if he wins Alexander Gustafson in September, at UFC 165.
