One of the biggest names in recent UFC history, Henry Cejudo believes in the ability to Khamzat Shimaev. Keeping an eye on the Swede's talent, the organization's former double champion believes that the young man is no longer a promise, but rather a reality. In an interview with 'The Schmo', 'Triple C' spoke about the welterweight, but pointed out the only one capable of stopping the fighter.

A self-confessed admirer of Khamzat's ability, Henry also makes no secret of the fact that the Swede is not the greatest in the category. The former Ultimate champion thus revealed an opponent who would not be beaten by the one who was once called the 'Phenomenon' by Dana White.

“The only one who can beat Chimaev is Kamaru Usman. For the rest, he (Khamzat) would 'take them to school'. No kidding”, he concluded.

In 2021, Khamzat returned to the octagon after more than a year of inactivity, as he was dealing with a serious case of Covid-19. In the presentation that marked his return to Ultimate, the Swede ran over li jingliang, finishing the opponent categorically, without even being touched. Today, the fighter is in 11th position in the rankings.
