The embarrassing knockout suffered by Tyron woodley in rematch with Jake Paul continues to resonate in the world of martial arts. In a statement given on his podcast 'Believe You Me', the former UFC champion Michael Bisping pointed out the 'big mistake' of the 'Chosen One' in the duel against the YouTuber and suggested retirement for the former welterweight leader (up to 77,1kg) in Ultimate.

“The thing about Woodley, and I say this all the time, is that in a sport like boxing where all you have to do is throw punches, he doesn't throw any damn punches. This is a problem! He doesn't attack enough. (Nate) Diaz yes, (Conor) McGregor yes. They could lose, but they attack, they fight. (Jorge) Masvidal would beat him. We'll see what happens next year with Diaz, but this fight will probably happen. I think Woodley needs to stop now, retire,” Bisping said.

Fired at the beginning of 2021 by Ultimate, Woodley decided to face a new challenge and venture into boxing. In his debut in the noble art, in August, the former UFC champion faced the YouTuber Jake Paul and was defeated in a unanimous decision by the judges. Replacing the injured Brit Tommy Fury, the 'Chosen One' got the rematch and in a fight with little emotion, he was brutally knocked out in the sixth round by the digital influencer.
