Jake Paul makes million-dollar offer to Masvidal, but receives astronomical counteroffer from UFC star

Undefeated in his boxing appearances, Jake Paul seems to have defined Jorge masvidal as a favorite target for his next boxing challenge. The dream of youtuber, however, comes up against the financial ambition of the 'bad boy'. After offering a million-dollar payment to the UFC athlete, the digital influencer ended up receiving an astronomical counter-offer.

“Masvidal, I have an offer for you now: $5 million, guaranteed, plus percentage on pay-per-view. It's the most money you'd get in a fight. Now, you can no longer say you fight the best or just for money. Let's make it happen”, said Jake, in an excerpt published by 'MMA fighting'.

Pay attention to the manifestations of youtuber, which ran over Tyron woodley last weekend, Masvidal wasted no time responding. Under contract with Ultimate, the 'bad boy' he countered, launching an astronomical counter-proposal.

“The UFC won’t let me fight for change. If it's US$20 million (more than R$100 million), I know they'll agree, as long as they get a 'slice'. If they (Ultimate) still deny it, sign with them for a fight and we’ll have a boxing match in the cage”, replied Masvidal, on his account on Twitter.

Jake's favorite target, Jorge is a standout in the UFC welterweight division. In his last fight, the 'bad boy' was severely massacred by Kamaru Usman, competing for the group's belt. Today, the North American is sixth in the category and has no scheduled confrontation.
