After the massacre on Chris Daukas, UFC Las Vegas 45, held this Saturday (18), Derrick Lewis reached a historic milestone in the organization. Known for his strength in his fists, the heavyweight 'giant' (up to 120,2kg) broke the company's knockout record, surpassing Vitor belfort and Matt Brown. The North American reached the condition after massacring his rival in the first round of the company's last event of the 2021 season.

Known for his aggressiveness, Belfort, until this weekend, was, along with Brown and Derrick, the athlete with the most knockouts in the organization, with 12. Now, the North American reigns supreme at the top of the list, with 13.

The triumph over Daukaus made the 'giant' return to the path of victories in the organization. The athlete stumbled against Cyryl Gane, competing for the interim belt in the under-120,2kg group.
