Brazilian Jorge Gurgel reported this Wednesday, in an interview with the American website ProMMA, that after his defeat to Aaron Riley at UFC-91 he is leaving the UFC. After seven fights in Ultimate, where he won three victories, the jiu-jitsu black belt and ground coach of fighters like Rich Franklin is now in a new home, Strikeforce.
“I'm very excited to be part of Strikeforce, and have the chance to fight with new blood and win the belt. The UFC has been a family for many years, but now I'm ready for the next chapter.
