In its first demonstrations by Twitter after the defeat to Chris Weidman at UFC 162, held last Saturday (6), Anderson Silva maintained the same tone presented in the interviews after the event. With restraint, Spider thanked his fans for their support and highlighted the importance of his family.

“I prepared myself, but unfortunately I couldn’t. I want to thank everyone who has always supported me. To my fans, thank you very much”, the athlete published on his official profile on the microblogging network a few hours after the fight.

During the fight week, Anderson gave an interview for American TV, and when asked what he was looking forward to on Saturday night, he imitates Bruce Buffer and announces Cris Weidman as the new middleweight champion, the problem is his posture, there is interview in which he appears challenging, that there is still a lot to be done, in others he trivializes the sport, as if he doesn't care about anything, raises suspicions about armed fights and demonstrates dissatisfaction with the way the UFC deals financially with athletes, perhaps because these and others Fedor never reached an agreement with the UFC, we will never know the truth about this fight or who knows in a few years... I don't think Anderson was going to lose, but for him that night the result didn't matter, he was no longer in the mood. to fight, but you have to fulfill the contract, and it's like sending a spoiled child to collect his toys.

May God bless you Anderson, don't pay attention to those who speak ill of you. In reality, I'm sure, they wanted to be in your place. You enter the sport to lose or win, otherwise there would be no competition. Raise your head. God is with you. Everyone falls, the hard part is getting up and you've certainly already gotten up. You are a great athlete, a fighter who has already given a lot of joy to the people, who out of ingratitude today are trying to humiliate you, be superior. I remain your fan.
