After Amanda Nunes' defeat, Cris Cyborg 'receives a call' from Dana White and asks for a rematch with the 'Lione'

After her former rival was dethroned by Julianna Peña at UFC 269, the veteran took to social media and asked for a rematch against the still featherweight champion.

With the end of the reign of Amanda nunes in bantamweights (up to 61,2kg), Chris Cyborg He didn't even want to wait to ask for a rematch against his compatriot. In a post made on her Twitter, the Bellator featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) simulated a call to UFC president Dana White, congratulating Julianna Pena and called for a second duel with the 'Lioness'.

In December 2018, Amanda and Cyborg faced each other at UFC 232 in a duel valid for the featherweight belt, then held by Cris. With an overwhelming performance, the 'Lione' knocked out the veteran less than a minute into the fight and became the first female champion of two categories simultaneously in Ultimate. Even with the defeat to Julianna this Saturday (11), Nunes remains the 'queen' of the featherweight division.
