Still away from the octagon and with new team after more than a decade at 'Jackson-Wink MMA', Jon Jones decided to chat with his fans on 'Twitter'. Asked by a follower about Dana White having 'robbed' him of millions of dollars during his reign at light heavyweight (up to 93kg), the veteran denied the possibility of having been harmed by his agent and the company.

“It’s not really theft if you allow it to happen. I was not prepared for the position I found myself in,” Jones wrote.

In March 2011, Jones ran over the then champion Mauricio Shogun and became the youngest champion in Ultimate history. Even though he was dethroned from his post due to personal problems, 'Bones' was never defeated in the Octagon. His only setback was against Matt Hamil, due to disqualification, after landing an illegal blow.

Without stepping into the Octagon since February 2020, Jones continues to wait to make his heavyweight debut (up to 120,2kg). In August of the same year, 'Bones' abandoned the light heavyweight belt with the aim of moving up a category. Professional since 2008, the fighter has a record of 26 wins and just one loss in MMA.
