In a duel valid for the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 44 this Saturday (4), the Angolan gave yet another proof of his talent and knocked out, in a devastating way, Zhalgas Zhumagulov in the first round of the confrontation. The fighter, who had entered with the Portuguese flag, also celebrated in honor of football player Cristiano Ronaldo.

On the other hand, Zhumagulov suffers his fifth defeat in his career in mixed martial arts. The Kazakh has a record of 14 positive results and five negative results.
The fight
Kape started the fight with a flying knee that didn't connect with Zhumagulov. However, the Kazakh 'got back at him' and connected with a right-wing bomb that put his opponent off balance. The former RIZIN champion, however, found his rhythm and, after stamping Zhalgas' leg, applied a straight right to knock him out in the first round.
In a post-fight interview, still in the octagon, Manel called himself the best flyweight today.
“I'm the best flyweight in the world. They may say otherwise, but I know that I am. It’s ‘easy money’ for me,” Kape said.

In a 'fight of generations' on the preliminary card, Bryan Barbarena made use of his experience and, as a bonus, ended the debutant's unbeaten record Darian Weeks by points (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). The duel was valid in the welterweight division (up to 77kg.).
Barbarena eases his situation in Ultimate and, after three defeats in the last four fights, puts an end to his bad phase. The veteran increases his record to 16 triumphs and eight setbacks as an MMA professional.
After taking the fight four days in advance, Weeks started on the wrong foot and did not repeat his winning streak in the LFA. He now has a history of five positive results and one negative.

In a duel between giants in the welterweight category (up to 93kg), the expectation was for a knockout for one of the sides. However, standing balance prevailed and, after three busy rounds, William knight overcame Alonzo Menifield in the unanimous decision of the judges.
Hired in the 'Contender Series, Knight increases his streak to two consecutive victories and, even so, only has his second in the judges' decision. In his career, there are 12 positive results and three negative results.
Menifield now has his good moment over and is once again feeling the 'bitter taste' of defeat. The North American has a record of 11 triumphs and three setbacks.

In the last women's fight of the night, the straw (up to 52,1kg.) Cheyanne Vlismas confirmed favoritism and, with an adjusted boxing game, beat Mallory Martin in the unanimous decision of the judges. The athlete now alleviates her situation and wins again in Ultimate.
Another from the 'Contender Series Generation', Cheyanne achieves her seventh career victory. She also has two setbacks.
Martin enters a complicated situation in the UFC and has a record of seven positive results and five negative results.

Thereby, Vince Morales scores his first run in Ultimate and, as a bonus, achieves the 11th victory in his career. His record now has 11 triumphs and five setbacks.
Louis Smolka, on the other hand, 'balances' his record in the organization with three wins and three defeats. He suffers his eighth negative result, while also having 17 positives.
