'The fight only ends when it ends'. The phrase may seem like a cliche, but it serves to define what happened in the Bellator 272, an event that took place this Friday (03), in XXXx (USA). In the fight, champion Sergio Pettis had been dominated by Kyoji Horiguchi for three rounds, but he managed to throw a big punch out of the hat and knock out the Japanese in a brutal way.
In the fight, Kyoji Horiguchi started dominating the duel. The Japanese abused his movement and speed to hit Pettis and get out of range. He even took down the champion to control the fight on the ground. After three rounds of extensive control from Horiguchi, Pettis went all or nothing in the fourth round. Sergio balanced the dispute and with a beautiful round punch he achieved the knockout.
