Kayla Harrison declares her affection for Amanda Nunes, but reinforces her desire to face her: 'It's business'

Friends, friends… Business aside! Even though it helps Amanda nunes in adjusting grappling to combat against Julianna Pena No. UFC 269 on December 11th, Kayla harrison made a controversial statement. Free on the market, the North American tried to highlight her appreciation for the Brazilian, but does not rule out facing her in the near future.

“I love Amanda (Nunes) and I think she’s incredible. I don't want to piss off our teammates and coaches, but I'm at that point in my life where I know my worth and I want to see what happens. The best compliment I can give is that I want to fight Amanda. I want to fight, but then go out to eat with her, without rivalry” said Harrison, in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.

With respect, Kayla still doesn't know if she will, in fact, sign a contract with Ultimate. Still, the two-time Olympic champion stated that Amanda is the 'best in history' and has a lot of respect for the 'Lioness'.

“There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for a teammate and I don’t do it out of spite. But it's just business, you know? It's an honor to be mentioned in the same sentence as her. Amanda is the greatest of all time for a reason, and I put a lot of respect into that name, and I don't call people the greatest of all time for nothing,” she concluded.
