“I was waiting for a fight and a lot of people were talking about (Alexandre) Pantoja and Askar askarov. To be honest, I don't know what happened to these guys, but I heard they were both injured. Then, officially, the UFC offered Deiveson Figueiredo and I accepted right away. He was talking about me running a trilogy,” said Moreno, in an interview with the podcast 'The MMA Tour'.

The history of Brandon Moreno e Deiveson Figueiredo was written after a close fight between the two athletes, which ended in a majority draw. However, in the rematch, the Mexican proved superior and submitted the Brazilian in the second round. Now, he took the opportunity to retort to his rival's 'provocations'.

“Obviously I thought I dominated him in the last fight, but that's okay. That doesn't interest me. He is the best sponsor of all – as he paid for my house and car. So let’s do it again,” he concluded.
