Woodley's victorious trajectory within mixed martial arts has not been transcribed in recent years. UFC welterweight champion (up to 77kg) between 2016 and 2019, Tyron has not won in MMA for over three years.

With four consecutive setbacks, the fighter ended up being released by Ultimate. Afterwards, the veteran agreed to face the YouTuber Jake Paul in a clash fought under boxing rules. To the surprise of many, Woodley ended up defeated on points, extending the bad moment.
