Miesha Tate appears to be fully recovered from the fight against the Brazilian Ketlen Scallop, UFC Las Vegas 43, on the 20th. The North American, who took the completely disfigured face, with many cuts, showed that he is fine and even dismissed the doctors to remove the stitches from his face.

In a video released on his YouTube channel (see below), Tate shared how his recovery is going after the setback against Ketlen. The former UFC champion, who still had a very swollen left eye a week after the fight, showed off her skills outside the Octagon. The fighter, without medical training, removed one of the stitches on her face and showed no difficulties in doing so.

“I don’t think there’s any point in going to a doctor to have it removed, but I’m also a bit crazy,” Miesha said in the recording, before adding: “I feel like I’m healing pretty well, all things considered,” she said. “Actually, I already took one (point). I thought, you know what, maybe you all would like to see this,” she added.

Last weekend, Tate took to the octagon for his second engagement since deciding to come out of retirement. After beating Marion Reneau in July, the American did not have the same success against Ketlen.

The clash against the Brazilian, however, was marked by balance. After 25 minutes, Vieira was declared the winner in a unanimous decision by the judges.

With the stumble, Miesha was momentarily removed from her dream of regaining her status as a title challenger. Ketlen, in turn, came closer to a title shot.
