“Maybe this isn't so good (for the UFC) that I'm too quiet, but I make up for it inside the octagon. I'm not one of those guys who talks and seeks attention. I appear inside the Octagon,” said Do Bronx.

Charles now defends his title for the first time against Dustin poirier No. UFC 269 on December 11th and maintains a respectful relationship with the North American. However, when asked if this would make a difference, the champion highlighted that he is only focused on winning and doesn't care about what happens behind the scenes.

“These guys who provoke me don’t make any difference to me. It goes in one ear and out the other. I have fighting as my job. It's where I put my 'daily bread'. I'm going there to fight, it doesn't matter if the guy is going to talk, want to provoke me. It’s just another fight that I’m going to make happen and embrace (after the fight)”, concluded the Brazilian.
