Conor McGregor He is still recovering from the serious injury to his left leg and, amid speculation about his future in Ultimate, he gave indications of what his return to the organization could be in 2022. Despite coming on a streak of two defeats, the 'Notório' stated that will fight for the lightweight division title (up to 70,3kg), regardless of the opponent.

The answer in question came after journalist Marc Raimondi, from the North American 'ESPN', listed some of the possible opponents for his return to the cage next year. In fact, the Irishman still talks about a possible quadrilogy in front of Dustin poirier in the future.

While Conor recovers, the lightweight division continues. And, in UFC 269, the brazilian Charles of the Bronx defends his title for the first time against the Irish rival, Dustin poirier. The duel takes place in the main fight of the card, which is scheduled for December 11th, in the company's last numbered event of 2021.
