Ketlen Vieira celebrates victory and says she is grateful for the opportunity to fight Miesha Tate

Brazilian, who won by the judges' decision, praises the North American and says she asked to train wrestling with the athlete in the future

Ketlen Scallop It's pure joy. After defeating the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg.) Miesha Tate in a tough fight UFC Las Vegas 43 last Saturday, the Brazilian reveals that she was thrilled by the opportunity to measure her strength against the North American and assured that she entered the octagon with the intention of not giving up and proving herself at her best level.

“I managed to stand firm against a great athlete, former champion, very experienced. I wasn't even fighting MMA yet when she was already competing for world titles. My feeling of emotion was for everything I went through in my last fight. So I came with this feeling of donating and doing my best”, said Vieira in a post-event press conference.

It does not stop there. According to Ketlen, she faced her 'biggest challenge' and surprised by revealing her desire to train Wrestling with 'Cupcake' to further fine-tune your grappling game.

“I haven't spoken to her yet. Today I was better than Miesha (Tate). Today was my day. But that doesn't mean I'm a better wrestler than her. You can't erase the history she made in sport. I wanted to train with her because I felt she was a very dangerous athlete. I've fought with the best in Wrestling – Sara Mcmann e Zingano cat – and I didn’t feel the danger I felt with her today. That’s why I wanted to fight with her and gain knowledge”, concluded the Brazilian.
