Eduardo Kiko from São Paulo will have a tough mission in his next fight. The fighter will compete for the Web Fight Combat flyweight belt against former UFC athlete Pedro Nobre. The clash will be on the card of the second edition of the event, scheduled for July 7th, which will take place at the Barra Music concert hall, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
Undeterred by his rival's track record, Kiko relies on his striking to overcome his rival's sharp ground game. “My training is specific to boxing and takedown defense. And, of course, in the physical part too, to endure until the last round, if necessary. Even so, the focus is to keep the fight standing, exchange and knockout, so as not to leave the decision in the hands of the judges”, he analyzed.
The clash against Pedro Nobre will be a rematch for Kiko. The fighters already faced each other in 2012, with the Rio native winning by the judges' decision. But even with the setback, Eduardo does not hide his confidence in winning the event title. “My expectations are very good. I'm very confident. And I only leave there with the belt”, he concluded.
