Miesha Tate says trilogy against Ronda Rousey 'would be a dream come true'

In an interview with Megan Olivi, UFC reporter, Miesha Tate said she was grateful to have had the opportunity to rival Ronda Rousey and revealed that he still dreams of a possible trilogy.

“I'm really grateful to have someone like Ronda as this rival. A rivalry like this needs two parties. We needed people to care beyond the sport, right? There was a script to follow and we followed it for a long time. Maybe after having kids she wants to come back and fight again. Who knows? For me it would be a dream come true”, revealed Tate.

At 35, Miesha Tate is preparing for his second fight in the UFC since returning from a hiatus of almost five years without action. More mature, the North American recognizes the importance of rivalry with Ronda Rousey had for the growth of women's MMA and for her career.

“Honestly, I look at it differently. I'm very grateful to have had this rivalry, not only because of what it did for the sport, but I can say from my perspective what it did for me. They were wonderful things. She was the perfect person to have on the other side,” Tate admitted.

Miesha Tate comes into action this Saturday (20), when it faces the Brazilian Ketlen Scallop in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 43.
