A five-round war starring Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 42 took both fighters straight from the octagon to the hospital last Saturday (13). Despite the apparent damage, however, the Hawaiian and Mexican had “minimal injuries” and escaped long medical hooks.

According to the list of medical suspensions published by the website mixedmartialarts.com, Max Holloway a laceration above the right eye was diagnosed, while Yair Rodriguez He also had a laceration. Both fighters will be released to fight from the end of December.
On the other hand, Marcos “Pezão”, who ran over Ben Rothwell in just 30 seconds in the event's co-main fight, is among the seven fighters who could receive a suspension of up to six months. In addition to the Brazilian, they are: Ben Rothwell, Khaos Williams, Andrea Lee, Cynthia calvillo, Cortney Casey and Liana Jojua.

Khaos Williams: Needs an X-ray on his right hand. If positive, you need approval from the orthopedist or you won't be able to fight until May 13th. Minimum suspension no fight until December 5th, no contact until November 28th.
Miguel Baeza: Suspended until December 29th, no contact until December 14th.
Julio Maple: Suspended until December 29th, no contact until December 14th.
Thiago Moses: Suspended until December 29th, no contact until December 14th – scalp laceration.
Andrea Lee: Needs X-ray on left hand and left foot. If positive, you need approval from the orthopedist or you won't be able to fight until May 13th. Minimum suspension no fight until December 14th, no contact until December 5th.
Cynthia calvillo: Needs clearance from ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist or maxillofacial specialist due to right inferior orbital fracture or no fight by May 13th. Minimum suspension with no fight until December 29th or no contact until December 14th.
Collin Anglin: Suspended until December 14th, no contact until December 5th.
Cortney Casey: Needs X-ray on right hand. If positive, you need approval from the orthopedist or you won't be able to fight until May 13th.
Liana Jojua: Needs clearance from ENT for broken nose or no fight by May 13th. Minimum suspension no fight until December 29th, no contact until December 14th.
Marc Diakiese: Suspended until November 28th, no contact until November 21st.
Kennedy Nzechukwu: Suspended until December 29th, no contact until December 14th.
