Faced with the biggest challenge of your career, Marcos Foot did not disappoint. In the co-main fight of UFC Las Vegas 42 this Saturday (13), the Brazilian knocked out Ben Rothwell in just 32 seconds. In an interview in the octagon after the fight, the Brazilian athlete praised his training and stated that he was not surprised by the quick victory.

“Man, Ben Rothwell is a really tough guy, all my respect to him. It was a fight that I already expected (the result), I train a lot. Thank God, I represent the American Top Team, the Lotus Club, in São Paulo. So I've been doing great workouts. I came prepared for this, to put on a show. I knew my speed, my knockout power and I exploited that from beginning to end”, said Pezão.
The Brazilian also disagreed with those who thought the interruption was hasty and took the opportunity to praise his achievement.
“I thought it could end at any moment. I was landing the blows, he was feeling my hands a lot. No one has ever seen this happen to Ben Rothwell and I came here and did my job and now it’s time to rest”, concluded the Brazilian.
For the first time since 2014, Marcos Foot adds two consecutive victories in his career. The Brazilian fighter now has a record of 19 wins, seven setbacks and one draw.
