Yanez is going through a delicate moment in the company, as he has not yet managed to win in his two fights. The American has a history of five triumphs and four setbacks in her career in mixed martial arts.

The fight

In the first round, Bruna Ellen was willing to prove herself right from the start and attacked Desiree Yanez. The Brazilian found the distance and managed to have good moments with combinations, alternating between jabs and straight shots. On the other hand, the North American tried to surprise with the counterattack, but it was not effective.

In the second round, the Campinas fighter continued to be effective. Even so, she already felt, at times, the difficulty in imposing the same rhythm, due to the period in which she was inactive – almost two years. The North American looked more comfortable in the fight and even managed to reverse a fall to come out on top in the final stretch.

Willing to prove that they deserved to win, Ellen and Yanez went for 'all or nothing'. Despite already appearing a certain amount of tiredness, Bruna tried to return to an intensity similar to that of the first round. Therefore, Desiree invested in the grip next to the fence and managed to score in the position. At the last minute, the two fighters began to engage in frank exchanges.
