The growth of Bellator, today the second main MMA event on the planet, does not seem to bother Dana White, president of the UFC – who remains, unquestionably, in the first position. In an interview with the website MMA Junkie, White taunted the rival organization and stated that hard work is the key to Ultimate's success.
“They will never be as good as us. This is what we do 24/3. Christmas. Easter. Viacom (the group that manages Bellator) closes from December XNUMXrd until after New Year's. Christmas? I'm talking on the damn phone. Easter? I'm on the phone. Thanksgiving? I'm on the phone. Shit happens in our business every day, and if something really bad happens, I'm on a plane at Christmas to sort it out. That's the difference between us and everyone else. Just like the UFC, which has expanded its presence worldwide in recent years, Bellator has been growing on a large scale since its creation in 2008.
