The growth of Bellator, today the second main MMA event on the planet, does not seem to bother Dana White, president of the UFC – who remains, unquestionably, in the first position. In an interview with the website MMA Junkie, White taunted the rival organization and stated that hard work is the key to Ultimate's success.

“They will never be as good as us. This is what we do 24/3. Christmas. Easter. Viacom (the group that manages Bellator) closes from December XNUMXrd until after New Year's. Christmas? I'm talking on the damn phone. Easter? I'm on the phone. Thanksgiving? I'm on the phone. Shit happens in our business every day, and if something really bad happens, I'm on a plane at Christmas to sort it out. That's the difference between us and everyone else. No one will ever work harder than us. This is never going to happen. It’s impossible,” said the leader.

Just like the UFC, which has expanded its presence worldwide in recent years, Bellator has been growing on a large scale since its creation in 2008. In recent months, the organization chaired by Bjorn Rebney has signed important MMA athletes, such as the former Ultimate Quinton championRampage”Jackson. In addition, the event also created a reality show with the aim of revealing new talents in the sport, “Fight Master: Bellator MMA”, which has names like Randy Couture and Frank Shamrock as coaches.
