Undefeated in MMA, Khabib's cousin is detained in Russia accused of running over a police officer at the airport

Cousin of the legendary Khabib, Usman Nurmagomedov his name was involved in controversy outside the cages. Bellator's promise, the undefeated athlete was detained in Russia accused of running over an officer at an airport in Moscow. The information was released by 'TASS'.

According to the agency, Usman and a friend were driving a car with tinted windows and no identification plates. As they passed through a checkpoint, the fighter allegedly ignored a police officer, accelerating the car and running over the officer.

According to a report on the case, the officer ended up suffering injuries. Usman may suffer consequences since, according to the 'TASS', a criminal case was opened by the Russian Investigative Committee.

According to 'MMA fighting', Bellator is already aware of the incident. The company, however, chose not to make statements until there is more information about the situation.
